The future of business
With the growth in power and reach of multi-nationals, does this mean that it is inevitable that smaller players will be subsumed?
Not necessarily.
The key is in quality. If you think of companies you really like the product or service of, the reason is likely to come down to quality – quality of product, quality of service – quality of every touch point.
If you think of the companies that started out small and then were bought out, for huge sums, because they had a huge consumer following – the answer is often in the quality they stood for.
Success in corporates is not necessarily measured by size. There is more to it than that – and consumers will vote with their hip pockets when they like what they see, what they receive, and what they experience.
